MEET & GREET NETWORKING
Deaf & Disabled People in TV (DDPTV) has teamed up with BBC Comedy and BBC Drama to increase the number of Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent professionals working in television.
We are looking for DDPTV Members to apply for a joint Comedy and Drama in-person event in London. Members who are working as Directors, Series Directors, Producers, Series Producers, Exec Producers, Editors, DOPs, Sound Recordists, Edit Producers, Assistant Producers, Researchers, Makeup Artists, Composers, and Assistant Editors. There are 10 places for for the Comedy Event, and 10 for Drama Event - please only apply for one event. Those selected will meet with the BBC Comedy and BBC Drama Commissioning Team, and independent producers who supply content to the BBC Broadcaster.
Apply for one of these in-person event by using our online application below, which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Both the BBC and DDPTV know the importance of regionality when telling stories. The BBC is offering to pay for 6 DDPTV Members travel to London, and one night in a hotel on the evening of the 10th or 11th . Please indicate whether this is required for your attendance, and remember we have a limited number of attendees for whom we can pay travel and accommodation.

Your application answers, CV, and image will be supplied to both the BBC Team and independent doc producers invited to the event.
We will review your application as quickly as possible. If you have demonstrated your suitability for the event, we will send you an invite and request you complete a larger access requirement form so we can meet your needs.
